As we continue to bring education to the wine lovers community, we'll also be offering ‘wine circles’, where a select group of winemakers will be at hand to share their stories and their philosophy for their art. Set in an unconventional setting with wine crates as seats, you will get to enjoy wines while listening to the winemakers share amusing and heart-warming tales.
Wine Circles will be facilitated by Andrew Cameron and Dan Sims

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
Andrew Cameron moved from Adelaide late 2015 to take on the role of Beverage Director at Burnt Ends and Meat Smith. He has a background in Microbiology and is passionate about utilising conversations within the F&B industry to drive large-scale change (and comprehension) in the sustainability arena. He has presented on “Microbial Terroir” at the Australian Gastronomy Symposium, “The Future of Drinking” at the International Food Studies Conference & “The Science of the Perfect Drink” on ABC’s Catalyst Program. In Singapore, he is using the beverage offerings to highlight the exciting products coming out of Australia and the U.S.A, and attracting the producers to present in person.
Dan Sims is a wine commentator, educator, promoter, personality, and all around professional wino. As a sommelier Dan was named the inaugural Sommelier of the Year at The Age Good Food Guide in 2008. He has supported various wine industry education and scholarship programs such as the Galli Scholarship, The Sommeliers Australia Education Scholarship, and is a judge for the Best Sommelier of Australia Competition. He has also made sell-out wines in Argentina and worked in running events for the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival and Good Food Show.
Bottle Shop Concepts was established in 2013, with the goal to take the ‘wank out of wine’, and focuses on producing large scale events for wine drinkers that are informative, interactive and not in the slightest bit scary.
